This policy covers Chrome extensions published by Sweezy that link to this page (for example: Make it Rain, Cursor Trail FX, Emoji Combo & Text Arts).
In short
- We do not collect your personal information.
- We do not read page content, browsing history, clicks, or keystrokes.
- Any settings are stored locally on your device to make the extension work the way you chose.
- We do not sell or share data with third parties.
What we collect
We don’t collect, store, or transmit personal data. We don’t request your name, email, payment info, or anything similar.
Local settings
To remember your preferences (for example: chosen effect type, intensity, speed, or last on/off state), the extension may save small settings only in your browser (e.g., via Chrome’s local storage). These settings never leave your device.
How permissions are used
Our extensions aim to do one clear thing (single purpose). Typical Chrome permissions may include:
- activeTab — run the effect only on the tab you interact with.
- scripting — add/remove a small script and styles to draw a visual layer on top of the page.
- storage — keep your local preferences.
- Host access — required to show the overlay on sites you enable. We do not read or modify page content.
No remote code
All executable code is packaged with the extension. We don’t load external scripts or use eval.
Children’s privacy
Our extensions are for a general audience and do not collect personal information.
Data sharing & selling
We do not sell data. We do not share data for purposes unrelated to the extension’s single purpose.
Your choices
You can turn the extension on/off at any time from the toolbar icon or hotkey. You can also remove the extension from your browser whenever you like.
Changes to this policy
If we ever change how the extensions work with data, we’ll update this page and the date above.
